Installation of Snoobi into frames
Snoobi tag can be easily installed onto sites, which have frames built into them. The form of the tag and the installation instructions remain as same as for sites using noframes. The only difference is that the tag is not to be installed into every frame, or HTML file.
The tag is only installed into frames, which contain relevant, actual content. In essence this usually means that the tag is only installed into pages that open in the main frame, located in the middle of the page.
Snoobi tag must not be included into:
-
The frameset page (defines the number and size of the frames, its content is not visible on the website).
-
Navigational frames (unchanging frame, usually includes only links). See Image 1.
-
Header frames (unchanging frame, usually located on the top of the page). See Image 1.

Image 1. Installation of the tracking tag into frames
If the tag has been installed into the wrong frames, the tracking will register hits from all the frames at the same time. In the report this would come across as a single user who seems to be surfing simultaneously on all the frames. For useful tracking information, we only need to know when the user changes the content in the main frame.
