User levels and access rights

A Snoobi username is needed in order to view any of Snoobi's web reports or custom web reports. Read about creating new users »

User privilege for standard reports

Snoobi's general username gives access to all standard reports within an account. Custom reports work differently because access to custom reports is given separately on a case by case basis.

With all usernames, you can choose whether the username is given read-only access or full editing access.

  • User = Read-only access to all standard reports, no access to the settings
  • Administrator = Reading and editing access to all standard reports and unrestricted access to all settings with the exception of editing settings for integrated AdWords campaigns (AdWords modification rightsa are a separate setting)

The custom report are also available for e-mail subscription, which can be viewed and subscribed for people without access to Snoobi's web report.

Access to custom reports

The creator of a custom report can decide which of thei custom reports they want to share with other users. They can choose to share either the online report or an e-mail version of it. The following report types are considered as custom reports:

  • My reports
  • KPI reports
  • Corporate Views

Before sharing a custom report with another person, make sure that they have a Snoobi username. They don't need to have user privileges to any account, but sharing requires a username.

Limited user privileges

You can grant someone access to a certain custom report without giving access to any other reports. This way you can limit the result precisely to what the person is allowed to see.

1. Begin by creating a new user, but leave the "Give access to account xxx" blank.

2. Open the custom report that you wish to grant access to and click on the share dialogue (see image 2).

User privileges for the AdWords- integration

The results and data for integrated AdWords campaigns are visible to all Snoobi users. However, only the person who performed the integration gets editing rights automatically. The person who performed the integraation can grant AdWords editing rights to other users separately.

Editing privileges can be either campaign-specific or they can encompass all current and future integrated campaigns.
